The English Bridle is a 553mm outdoor pedestal lantern with three E14 bulb fittings behind clear seeded glass panels, finished in rich bronze and topped with a domed cap and decorative finial. The lantern body sits on a fluted bronze base with a square mounting plate for securing to gate pillars, wall piers or driveway entrances.

Designed for residential driveways, garden entrances and pathway terminals, the 216mm square footprint suits both standalone gate posts and paired installation on pillars flanking an entrance. The IP44 rating protects against rain and splashing water, making the fitting suitable for exposed positions. The three E14 candle bulbs (sold separately) light up to a combined 180W, giving sufficient output for gateway illumination while the seeded glass diffuses the light to reduce harsh points.

The bronze finish carries a textured, aged patina that weathers naturally outdoors and complements traditional brick, stone and render finishes. The clear seeded glass shows intentional bubble and ripple inclusions consistent with period glasswork, visible during daylight and when lit.
