Description

The Energizer Vision Ultra is a rechargeable LED head torch delivering up to 400 lumens from dual white LEDs, with additional red and green LEDs for night vision preservation. The torch runs on a built-in lithium-polymer battery charged via USB cable (included), providing 4-15 hours of run time depending on the mode selected. Seven modes cover high beam, wide beam, dimmed wide beam, low beam, red, green and red strobe.

Designed for outdoor activities including camping, hiking, trail running, fishing and hunting, the head torch uses Energizer Smart Dimming technology which allows the user to adjust light intensity without cycling through all modes. Vision Guard technology gradually increases brightness when switching to high beam, preventing sudden glare. The adjustable elastic headband fits over caps and helmets, and the lamp head tilts to direct the beam where needed.

The IPX4 weatherproof rating protects against rain and splashes from any direction, while 1m impact resistance handles drops onto hard surfaces during use. The combined housing and headband weigh 80g, light enough for extended wear without neck strain. The 80m maximum beam distance on high mode covers terrain ahead on trails and worksites, while the wide beam mode provides 30m of flood light for close-range tasks.

How is the battery recharged?

The head torch includes a USB charging cable that connects to the torch housing. Charge from any USB power source including mains adapters, power banks and laptop USB ports. A full charge typically takes 3-4 hours.

What are the red and green LEDs for?

Red and green LEDs preserve night vision during low-light activities such as astronomy, fishing and hunting. Red light maintains dark adaptation in your eyes, while green light offers better contrast for map reading and tracking without spooking wildlife.

What's the difference between the beam modes?

High mode gives 400 lumens and 80m beam distance for maximum visibility. Wide mode provides 200 lumens of flood light over a 30m area for close tasks. Wide dim and low modes extend run time to 15 hours at 20 lumens. The Smart Dimming feature lets you adjust brightness within each mode.

Is it waterproof enough for rain?

The IPX4 rating means the torch is protected against water splashes from any direction, so it handles rain, spray and sweat. It is not submersible and should not be used underwater or in heavy downpours without additional protection.
