T8 LED Tube Bulb 1800mm 30W 3600lm - CCT Adjustable

This is a 6ft linear LED tube in the standard T8 format, drawing 30W and giving 3,600 lumens. What separates it from a fixed-output tube is the small slide switch set into the end cap: three marked positions, 3000K, 4000K and 6500K, let you choose the colour of the light on the day you fit it rather than at the point of ordering. The tube itself is plain matt white with a two pin cap at each end, and it measures 1800mm from tip to tip, the length a 6ft batten or ceiling trough is built around.

Six foot battens turn up in garages, workshops, storerooms, utility rooms, long corridors and back-of-house areas in small shops, and the three settings mean one tube covers all of them. 6500K is the crispest of the three and the usual pick where you are working on something and want to see detail. 4000K is neutral white, the everyday choice for offices, stockrooms and circulation space. 3000K is warm and sits more comfortably in a room where the rest of the lighting is warm. Match the setting to the lamps already in the room and the result looks deliberate rather than mismatched.

Set the switch before the tube goes up, because reaching a 6ft tube at ceiling height twice is a job nobody wants. At 30W for 3,600 lumens the tube carries an E energy rating on the A to G scale. Energizer does not state a dimming figure or an IP rating for this one, so treat it as a fixed-output lamp for dry indoor locations and keep it off dimmer circuits unless the manufacturer confirms otherwise. How do I change the colour temperature?

A small slide switch sits in the end cap with three marked stops, 3000K, 4000K and 6500K. Set it by hand with the power off before you fit the tube. There is no app, remote or wall control involved.

Will it fit my existing 6ft fluorescent batten?

It is the standard 6ft length at 1800mm with a T8 two pin cap at each end, so it matches the physical format. Energizer does not state the ballast or starter arrangement this tube needs, so have an electrician confirm the wiring of your fitting before you order a full set.

Is it dimmable?

The manufacturer does not state a dimming rating for this tube and nothing on the pack settles it, so we make no claim either way. Treat it as a fixed-output lamp and do not put it on a dimmer circuit without confirmation from Energizer.

How bright is 3,600 lumens in practice?

That is a useful working level for a single or double garage, a workshop bench run or a storeroom aisle, where you want to read labels and see what you are doing without squinting. Two tubes spread across a wider space give more even cover than one bright centre line.

What does the E energy rating mean?

The current scale runs from A at the most efficient to G at the least, and it is far stricter than the old one. E here reflects roughly 120 lumens per watt, which is a solid figure for a 6ft tube carrying a colour selector.

Why is the minimum order 12?

These tubes come to us in trade quantities, so the smallest order we can raise is 12 units, in multiples of 12. Each unit is one tube, which works out well if you are relamping a run of battens in one go.
