Description

Alkaline Power is Energizer's everyday alkaline line, and this listing is the C size, supplied two cells to a card. C is the mid-sized cylindrical cell: noticeably fatter and shorter than a D, and a good deal larger than the AA most households keep in a drawer. Each cell gives the 1.5 volts standard to alkaline cylindrical cells, and carries the IEC code LR14, which is the number to look for when the spent cell in your hand is marked with a code rather than a letter.

C cells turn up wherever a device needs more capacity than an AA can hold but does not need the bulk of a D. Larger torches and camping lanterns, portable radios, wired door chimes, automatic soap dispensers, bicycle lamps and the bigger battery-driven toys are their usual homes.
