Energizer Max AA alkaline batteries are 1.5V LR6 cells supplied in a 4-pack blister. Each cell uses alkaline chemistry to deliver reliable power to torches, remote controls, clocks, wireless keyboards, children's toys and other household devices drawing low to moderate current. The cells carry a 10-year shelf life from manufacture, allowing them to be stored in a drawer or emergency kit without significant capacity loss.

Designed for everyday home and workplace use, the Max range sits between Energizer's basic alkaline cells and the premium Energizer Ultimate Lithium line. The cells provide consistent 1.5V output across their discharge curve, which suits devices that require stable voltage to function correctly. The leak-resistant construction limits the risk of electrolyte seepage during storage or after full discharge, reducing the chance of damage to battery compartments in remotes, controllers and similar electronics.

Each AA cell measures 50.5mm in length and 14.5mm in diameter, fitting standard AA battery holders without adapters. The four cells together weigh approximately 100g, light enough for handheld devices but substantial enough to deliver practical runtime in moderate-draw applications like LED torches and wireless mice. The blister pack uses frustration-free packaging with a tear strip, avoiding the need for scissors to access the cells.
