Description

The Energizer Max AA battery is a 1.5V alkaline cell rated for everyday use in torches, remote controls, wireless mice, clocks, smoke detectors and other household devices. This 14-pack provides a bulk supply with a 10-year shelf life when stored at room temperature, allowing batteries to be kept in reserve without degradation.

Each AA cell carries leak-resistant construction that reduces the risk of electrolyte leakage if a battery is fully discharged or left in a device for an extended period. The LR6 alkaline chemistry delivers a gradual voltage drop rather than a sharp cutoff, which suits devices that can tolerate a declining power curve such as radios, torches and wall clocks. For devices requiring stable voltage such as digital cameras or high-current flashlights, rechargeable NiMH cells may be more appropriate.

The 14-pack blister card fits into a drawer or cupboard and the individual cells can be dispensed as needed. Energizer Max cells are widely compatible with any device specifying AA/LR6/MN1500 alkaline batteries. The cells measure 50.5mm in length and 14.5mm in diameter, fitting standard AA battery compartments without adapter.
