Description

The Energizer Hardcase is a compact LED torch delivering 75 lumens from a single AA battery, with a pivoting metal clip, removable swivel magnet, and IPX4 weatherproof rating. The torch body combines hard plastic with shock-absorbing rubber zones, rated to survive drops from 7m onto concrete.

Designed for hands-free use in workshops, under bonnets, and on construction sites, the Hardcase can be clipped to a shirt pocket, worn on a lanyard via the built-in loop, or magnetically attached to metal surfaces such as vehicle panels and toolboxes. The swivelling magnet rotates 360 degrees, allowing the torch to be angled towards the work area once attached. The momentary push-button at the base provides a quick flash of light without locking the torch on, useful for inspections where you need short bursts of light.

The beam projects up to 30m and the LED runs for approximately 6 hours on a single AA alkaline battery. One Energizer Max AA battery is included in the pack. The compact 100mm body fits into pockets, tool belts and glove compartments without occupying significant space. The IPX4 rating means the torch can withstand splashes and rain but is not submersible.

Is the magnet removable?

Yes. The swivel magnet clips onto the torch body and can be removed if you prefer to use only the metal clip or lanyard loop. When attached, the magnet rotates 360 degrees to adjust the beam angle once fixed to a metal surface.

Can it be used in wet conditions?

The IPX4 rating means the torch is protected against splashes from any direction and can be used in rain. It is not waterproof and should not be submerged or used underwater.

What is the momentary button for?

The momentary push-button at the base provides a quick flash of light without locking the torch on. Press and hold for light, release to turn off. Useful for brief inspections where you do not need continuous light.
