Description

The Energizer G13 30W 6ft LED tube delivers 3400 lumens at a 6500K daylight colour temperature through a full glass construction with a shatterproof coating. The tube uses a G13 bi-pin fitting and runs on an integrated IC driver that provides flicker-free output across its 170-degree beam angle.

Designed for retrofitting into existing 6ft fluorescent fixtures, the tube includes an LED starter and fits standard G13 sockets without requiring ballast removal. The 6500K daylight output suits warehouses, workshops, garages, commercial kitchens and creative studios where bright white task lighting is needed. The 113 lumens per watt efficiency reduces running costs compared to T8 fluorescent tubes whilst maintaining similar light output.

The full glass body with shatterproof coating provides impact resistance for industrial and commercial environments without the fragility of standard glass tubes. Does this tube require ballast removal?

The tube is designed as a retrofit and includes an LED starter. In most installations the existing ballast can remain in place, but check your fixture's compatibility before installation. Some older ballasts may need to be bypassed for optimal performance.

What's the difference between 6500K and 4000K tubes?

6500K produces a bright white daylight output that increases alertness and reveals fine detail, making it suitable for task-heavy environments like workshops and commercial kitchens. 4000K neutral white is softer and works better in offices and retail spaces where a cooler but less clinical light is preferred.

Is this tube shatterproof?
