E27 (ES) LED GLS Bulb 9.5W 1055lm Non-Dimmable - Warm White 2700K

A 9.5W LED GLS bulb with an E27 screw cap, the large screw fitting usually marked ES. GLS is the pear shape of the old household bulb, so it sits in pendants, table lamps and shades designed around a filament lamp without looking like a substitute. It gives 1055 lumens at 2700K, a warm white close in tone to the lamp it replaces, and the pack rates it as a 75W replacement with a 15,000 hour lifespan, printed on the box as fifteen years. The opal-white body spreads the light instead of showing a hot point through a thin shade.

The 240 degree beam angle is why a GLS suits general room lighting: light travels sideways and upward as well as down, so a fabric drum shade, a pendant over a dining table or a bedside lamp looks evenly lit rather than glowing at one end.
