Description

The Energizer LED lantern delivers 80 lumens through an advanced LED and reflector system, powered by either 2 or 4 D batteries (sold separately). The lantern casts a wide 360-degree beam with a reach of 175 metres, suitable for lighting campsites, power outages, sheds, garages and outdoor work areas after dark.

The POWER SWITCH battery configuration allows the lantern to run on 2 D batteries for 70 hours or 4 D batteries for 140 hours, extending runtime for multi-day camping trips or extended power cuts without needing to carry spare batteries. The IPX4 weatherproof rating protects against rain and splashes, and the lantern floats on water if dropped overboard during boating or kayaking.

The red and black ABS body includes a moulded carry handle on top and anti-roll ribs on the base to stop the lantern rolling on sloped ground or boat decks. At 176mm tall and 250g unloaded, the lantern packs into rucksacks and car boots without taking significant space. The 1-metre impact resistance rating means the lantern can survive being knocked off tables or dropped from standing height onto hard ground.

Runtime depends on battery configuration. With 2 D batteries the lantern runs for approximately 70 hours. With 4 D batteries runtime extends to around 140 hours. Batteries are not included.

Can it be used in the rain?

Yes. The IPX4 weatherproof rating means the lantern can handle rain and splashes from any direction. It is not submersible but will float if dropped in water.

What beam distance does it provide?

The beam reaches 175 metres in ideal conditions. The 360-degree light distribution makes it more suitable for area lighting than for long-distance spotlighting.

Is the light output adjustable?

No. The lantern provides a fixed 80 lumen output when switched on. There is no dimmer or multiple brightness mode.
