Description

This is a 7.3W LED GLS bulb with a B22 bayonet cap, the push and twist fitting most British pendants and lamp holders use. It gives 806 lumens at 6500K, which the pack calls daylight: a crisp, blue leaning white rather than the yellow of an old filament lamp. The pack also gives it as a 60W replacement, so it is the natural swap for a standard 60W bayonet bulb. The bulb has a frosted white dome in the familiar household shape, and the 240 degree beam angle spreads light almost all the way round rather than pooling in one direction.

Daylight at 6500K is a working light rather than a relaxing one. It suits kitchens, utility rooms, garages, workshops, home offices and craft spaces, anywhere colours need to read accurately and fine detail has to stay sharp. In a bedroom or a sitting room it will feel cool and bright, so if you want a softer evening glow a warm white version is the better buy.
