E27 (ES) LED Candle Bulb 7.3W 806lm Dimmable - Warm White 2700K

This is a candle shaped LED lamp on an E27 screw cap, drawing 7.3W and producing 806 lumens of warm white light at 2700K. The retail pack states it as a replacement for a 60W filament candle, so the light it gives is closer to a normal household bulb than to the low output decorative candles many fittings were once supplied with. At 2700K the colour is properly warm, the yellow toned white of an old incandescent rather than the cleaner light of a 4000K lamp. The bulb is white rather than clear, so the diodes inside are not on show.

The cap is the thing to check before you order. E27 is the larger of the two screw fittings, the same one most standard pendant bulbs use, and plenty of candle shaped fittings take the smaller E14 instead. Look at the old bulb: an E27 thread measures 27mm across the metal screw, an E14 measures 14mm, and the two are not interchangeable. How bright is 806 lumens in a candle bulb?

It is the output normally associated with a 60W filament bulb, and the pack states 60W replacement. That makes it far brighter than the 25W and 40W candles often used in decorative fittings, so a multi arm pendant will light a whole room.

Will it work on my existing dimmer switch?
