The Energizer G80 is a 5W LED globe bulb with a gold-tinted glass envelope and four exposed LED filament strips arranged vertically inside an 80mm sphere. The E27 Edison screw base fits standard UK lamp holders, and the bulb delivers 550 lumens at 2200K — a warm amber tone comparable to vintage incandescent filament bulbs. The LED technology replaces a traditional 40W incandescent while consuming 5W on 230V mains.

Designed for decorative fittings where the bulb is visible — pendant lights with open or minimal shades, industrial cage fixtures, bare-bulb table lamps and wall sconces — the G80 pairs functional light output with the visual interest of exposed filament. The gold tint on the glass softens the light further and adds a warm glow even when the bulb is switched off. The dimmable function works with most leading-edge and trailing-edge dimmer switches, allowing brightness to be adjusted from full output down to around 10% depending on the dimmer model.
