Description

This is a 5W LED candle bulb with an E14 small screw cap, also written SES, and a clear glass body with the LED filaments running up the centre. It gives 550 lumens at 2700K, a warm white close to the colour of an old incandescent lamp, and the pack rates it as a replacement for a 40W candle bulb. The filament build matters here: rather than a plastic dome over a chip, the light comes from slim strips inside clear glass, so the bulb still reads as a bulb when the fitting leaves it on show.

Candle bulbs on an E14 cap are the usual choice for chandeliers, multi arm pendants, wall lights and the smaller table lamps that take a narrow lampholder.
