B15 LED Filament Golf Bulb 5W 550lm Dimmable - Warm White 2700K

This is a 5W LED golf ball bulb on a B15 small bayonet cap, with straight filament strips inside clear glass rather than a frosted dome. It gives 550 lumens at 2700K, a warm white close in tone to the old incandescent bulbs, and the retail pack gives it as a 40W replacement. The golf shape is the small round envelope, narrower and shorter than a standard GLS bulb, so it suits fittings where a full size bulb would crowd the shade. The pack carries an E energy rating.

B15 is the smaller of the two bayonet caps, 15mm across the pins against 22mm on a B22, so the two are not interchangeable. It turns up on bedside and table lamps, on wall lights, on older pendant fittings and on a good many cabinet and appliance lamps, which is why it pays to check the cap on the old bulb rather than assume the standard size.
