Description

The Energizer 4W LED candle filament bulb is a B15 bayonet-cap replacement for 40W incandescent candle bulbs, producing 470 lumens of 2700K warm white light. The exposed filament sits inside a clear glass candle-shaped envelope, making the bulb itself part of the visual design when fitted in chandeliers, wall sconces or decorative pendant lights where the bulb remains visible.

Designed for residential decorative lighting, the bulb suits traditional multi-arm chandeliers, bedside wall lights, hallway pendants and any fitting where a candle-style bulb is exposed. The B15 bayonet cap (also known as SBC or small bayonet cap) fits smaller decorative fittings common in British and European lighting. The 470 lumens output provides enough light for ambient room lighting when multiple bulbs are used together, or for accent lighting in individual wall sconces.

The filament-style LED inside the clear glass mimics the appearance of traditional tungsten filament bulbs when lit, giving a warm glow without the heat output or energy consumption of incandescent technology. At 4W consumption the bulb runs on one-tenth the power of the 40W incandescent it replaces, rated at Energy Rating E under current UK energy labelling. The bulb is non-dimmable and carries a 15-year lifespan claim based on typical domestic use patterns.

Is this bulb dimmable?

No. This bulb is rated as non-dimmable. Fitting it to a dimmer circuit may cause flickering, reduced lifespan or failure to light. If dimming is needed, look for bulbs specifically marked as dimmable.

B15 refers to the bayonet cap size, also known as SBC (small bayonet cap). The fitting has two pins on a 15mm diameter base. This is the smaller of the two common UK bayonet sizes, the other being B22 (22mm, used in most ceiling pendants). Check your fitting before ordering.
