GU10 LED Bulb 4.9W 345lm - Warm White 3000K, 4 Pack - Energizer

This is a GU10 LED spotlight rated at 4.9W, giving 345 lumens of 3000K warm white light, and it arrives as a box of four bulbs. The twist and lock GU10 cap is the standard two pin fitting used in most UK recessed ceiling spots and track heads, so if the bulb you are replacing has two small pins rather than a screw or bayonet cap, this is the one you want. The beam is spread across 50 degrees, which is wider than the tight beams often supplied with older halogen fittings.

Warm white at 3000K sits just above the yellow of old halogen and below the crisper white of a typical office fitting, so the light stays soft without tipping into amber. It suits kitchen ceilings, hallway downlights, living room track spots and shelf or alcove lighting where you want light pointed at something rather than filling a whole room. If the bulb coming out has two stubby pins that twist and lock into place, yes. GU10 runs straight off mains voltage, so there is no transformer to worry about.

Can I put these on a dimmer switch?

No. These are non dimmable, so on a dimming circuit they may flicker, buzz or fail early. Fit them to a plain on and off switch instead.

How does 345 lumens compare with the 50W halogen I am replacing?

The pack states a 50W replacement. Because the light is focused into a 50 degree beam rather than thrown in every direction, the pool of light on a worktop or floor reads much like the halogen did.

What does 3000K warm white actually look like?

It is a soft, slightly creamy white, warmer than a shop or office fitting but cleaner and less yellow than a very old incandescent bulb.

How many bulbs do I receive, and how many must I order?

Can I mix these with the bulbs already in my ceiling?

You can, though different bulbs age at different rates and rarely match exactly on colour, so changing a whole row at once gives the most even result.
