This is a GU10 LED spotlight that draws 4.2W and gives 345 lumens, supplied as a box of two bulbs. The cap is the usual GU10 twist-and-lock pair of pins, so it goes straight into the mains-voltage downlights and track heads that already take a GU10 halogen or LED. The light is warm white at 3000K, the softer end of the white scale and close to what most people picture as ordinary household light. The pack rates the bulbs as a 50W replacement and prints a 10 year lifespan.

Yes, provided the fitting takes a mains-voltage GU10 twist and lock cap. Check the old bulb has two stubby pins with rounded ends rather than the thin straight pins of a 12V MR16.

Can I use these on a dimmer switch?

No. These are non-dimmable, so on a dimmer circuit they may flicker, buzz or fail early. Use a plain switch, or choose a dimmable lamp for that circuit instead.
