Description

This is a 4.2W LED candle bulb with a small screw E14 cap, often written SES, and an opal finish rather than a clear one. It gives 470 lumens at 2700K, the warm white end of the scale, and it is dimmable. The pack states a 40W replacement figure, a 15 year lifespan and 15,000 hours of use, and an energy rating of E. The opal coating spreads light across the whole candle body, so the bulb reads as a soft glow rather than a bright point.

E14 is the cap you will usually find in chandeliers, candelabra, wall lights, small pendants and the smaller table and mantelpiece lamps, so this is a direct swap for an older 40W incandescent candle in any of those.
