Energizer LED GLS Bulb E27 18W Opal Non-Dimmable - Daylight 6500K

This is a high output LED GLS bulb with an E27 screw cap, the fitting often written as ES or Edison Screw. It draws 18W and gives 2542 lumens, and the pack rates it as a 150W replacement, so it sits at the bright end of what a single household socket is usually asked to do. The light is 6500K daylight, the coolest of the white tones, crisp and slightly blue rather than cosy. The pack also prints a 15 year lifespan.

Daylight at this output suits rooms where you want to see clearly rather than settle in: garages, workshops, utility rooms and cellars, kitchens lit by a single central pendant, and home offices where warmer light can make paperwork feel muddy. What does 6500K daylight actually look like?

It is a crisp white with a faint blue edge, much cooler than the 2700K warm white most living rooms use. Good for detailed work and colour matching, less comfortable for relaxing in the evening.
