Description

The Energizer 18W 4ft T8 LED tube delivers 1950 lumens of 6500K daylight output through a G13 bi-pin base, designed as a direct retrofit replacement for traditional fluorescent tubes in commercial and industrial fittings. The tube measures 1200mm in length with a 26mm diameter T8 profile, fitting standard 4ft single and twin batten luminaires.

Designed for workshops, retail units, warehouses and task-focused environments where high colour rendering and crisp light are needed, the tube provides 108 lumens per watt efficiency with a 170-degree beam angle for even distribution across ceiling-mounted fixtures. The retrofit design works with existing T8 fluorescent fittings once the old starter and ballast are bypassed — an LED starter is included in the pack to simplify the conversion process.

The tube uses full glass construction with a protective shatterproof coating applied to the outer surface, reducing the risk of glass fragmentation if the tube is accidentally broken during handling or installation. The internal IC driver provides flicker-free operation without visible stroboscopic effect under 6500K daylight temperature, which enhances visual comfort in spaces where concentration and detailed work are required. The non-dimmable design suits mains switching only.
