Description
The Energizer LED GLS is a 13.5W LED bulb with an E27 Edison screw base, delivering 1521 lumens at 3000K warm white. The pack contains four bulbs, each rated for up to 15 years of typical domestic use. The GLS (General Lighting Service) shape is the classic rounded bulb form, fitting standard table lamps, ceiling pendants, and floor lamp fittings designed for E27 sockets.
Designed as a direct replacement for 100W incandescent bulbs, each bulb draws just 13.5W while producing comparable light output, reducing energy consumption by approximately 86%. The 3000K colour temperature produces a warm white light that suits living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms and hallways where ambient rather than task lighting is needed. The 240-degree beam angle spreads light evenly across a room without creating harsh directional shadows.
The bulbs are non-dimmable and operate on standard 230V UK mains. Each bulb measures 60mm diameter by 120mm height, fitting most standard lampshades and enclosed fittings without clearance issues. The frosted polycarbonate shell diffuses the LED light source inside, preventing visible LED hotspots when the bulb is viewed directly. The energy rating is E under current UK labelling standards.
Supplied as a four-pack, the bulbs allow full-room replacement in one purchase or provide spares for future use. The 15-year lifespan is based on 3 hours of daily use, equating to approximately 16,425 hours before expected failure. Energizer backs the bulbs with standard manufacturer warranty terms.

Frequently Asked
Are these bulbs dimmable?
No. These are non-dimmable LED bulbs and should not be used with dimmer switches. Installing them on a dimmer circuit may cause flickering, buzzing, or premature failure. Use standard on/off switching only.
What wattage incandescent do these replace?
Each 13.5W LED bulb produces 1521 lumens, equivalent to a traditional 100W incandescent bulb. The significant reduction in wattage results in approximately 86% lower energy consumption for the same light output.
What is the actual lifespan in hours?
The 15-year rating is based on 3 hours of daily use, equating to approximately 16,425 hours of operation. Actual lifespan varies depending on usage patterns, ambient temperature, and switching frequency.
Can these be used in enclosed fittings?
Yes. The 60mm diameter and 120mm height fit most standard enclosed ceiling and table lamp fittings. However, extremely tight enclosures with poor ventilation may reduce lifespan due to heat buildup.
