Description

The Energizer 12.6W dimmable LED GLS bulb produces 1521 lumens at 2700K warm white, replacing traditional 100W incandescent bulbs with significantly lower energy consumption. The E27 Edison screw base fits standard UK and European light fittings across table lamps, ceiling pendants, wall lights and floor lamps. The bulb dims smoothly with compatible dimmer switches, allowing light levels to be adjusted from full brightness to a low ambient glow.

Designed for living rooms, bedrooms and dining rooms where dimmable warm-toned light is preferred, the GLS (General Lighting Service) shape provides omnidirectional light distribution similar to traditional filament bulbs. The 60mm diameter and 128mm height match the proportions of classic incandescent GLS bulbs, so the LED sits comfortably in lamp shades and exposed-bulb fittings without looking undersized or oversized.

The rated 15-year lifespan (based on 3 hours daily use) reduces replacement frequency compared to halogen and incandescent alternatives. At 12.6W the bulb draws approximately one-eighth the power of the 100W incandescent it replaces, lowering running costs while maintaining comparable light output. The E energy rating reflects current EU lighting efficiency standards.

Frequently Asked

Is this bulb compatible with dimmer switches?

Yes. The bulb is rated dimmable and works with most leading-edge and trailing-edge LED-compatible dimmer switches. Dimmer compatibility can vary by manufacturer, so if you experience flickering or limited dimming range, check that your dimmer is rated for LED loads.

What does 2700K warm white look like?

2700K produces a soft yellowish-white light similar to traditional incandescent bulbs. It sits at the warm end of the white spectrum and is generally preferred for living spaces, bedrooms and dining areas where a relaxed atmosphere is wanted.

How does 1521 lumens compare to a 100W incandescent?

A traditional 100W incandescent bulb typically produces around 1400-1600 lumens, so this 12.6W LED delivers comparable brightness while using far less power. The lumen output is the direct measure of visible light, regardless of wattage.

What is the rated lifespan?

Energizer rates this bulb at 15 years based on average use of 3 hours per day. Actual lifespan depends on operating conditions, switching frequency and whether the bulb is used in enclosed fittings where heat can accumulate.
