Description

The Energizer 11.5W LED flush bathroom light delivers 900 lumens of 3000K warm white light through an opal PMMA diffuser, spreading even illumination across a 120° beam angle. The integrated LED runs at 11.5W on 230V mains with a power factor of 0.9, giving 78 lumens per watt efficiency. The IP44 rating allows installation in bathroom zones 1, 2 and 3, protecting the fitting against water splashes from any direction.

Designed for bathrooms, shower rooms, ensuites and utility rooms where moisture resistance is needed, the flush mount sits close to the ceiling with a low-profile white body and a removable silver trim ring around the diffuser. The fitting mounts directly to a standard ceiling rose or junction box using push-in terminals, eliminating the need for terminal block connectors during installation. The 120° beam angle provides broad coverage suitable for ceiling heights between 2.3m and 2.7m.

The opal diffuser hides the LED array behind a smooth white surface, preventing visible point sources and glare when the light is on. The white body finish pairs with white bathroom ceilings to minimise visual contrast, while the silver trim adds a defined edge without dominating the fitting's appearance. At 0.42kg total weight, the fitting mounts securely to plasterboard ceilings with standard fixings and does not require additional support.

The non-dimmable LED is factory-sealed within the fitting, rated for 25,000 hours of operation at typical household duty cycles. The IP44 construction combines a sealed rear housing with a gasketed front diffuser to keep moisture out of the electrical compartment while allowing heat to dissipate. Can this be used above a shower?

Yes. The IP44 rating allows installation in bathroom zones 1, 2 and 3, which includes the area directly above a shower enclosure and the wider bathroom space. Zone 0 (inside the shower tray or bath itself) is not permitted.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The LED is integrated and factory-sealed within the fitting. At 25,000 hours rated life, the fitting typically lasts 10-15 years under normal household use before the entire unit needs replacing.

What ceiling height does it suit?

The 900 lumens output and 120° beam angle provide sufficient coverage for typical bathroom ceiling heights between 2.3m and 2.7m. In rooms with higher ceilings or larger floor areas, multiple fittings may be needed for adequate light levels.

How is it installed?
