The Energizer 1.8W G9 LED capsule bulb delivers 200 lumens of warm white light at 2700K, replacing traditional 20W halogen capsules with 90% lower energy consumption. The G9 bi-pin base fits directly into standard G9 lamp holders found in wall lights, ceiling spots, table lamps and decorative fixtures without requiring adaptors or modifications.

Designed for decorative and accent lighting in living rooms, bedrooms, hallways and hospitality settings, the capsule's compact 16mm x 51mm size sits within small shades and enclosed fittings where space is limited. The 300-degree beam angle provides wide light distribution rather than a focused spot, making it suitable for ambient fill light around mirrors, in uplighters, or behind fabric shades where diffused output is needed.

The bulb carries a rated 15-year lifespan based on 3 hours daily use, reducing replacement frequency compared to halogen capsules that typically last 2,000 hours. The warm white 2700K colour temperature produces a soft yellowish-white light comparable to incandescent bulbs, avoiding the cooler blue tones of daylight LEDs. The non-dimmable circuitry provides stable output on standard on/off switches but is not compatible with dimmer switches.
