Description

The Energizer G4 LED capsule bulb consumes 1.8W whilst delivering 215 lumens at a 6500K daylight colour temperature, replacing traditional 20W halogen G4 capsules. The twin-pin G4 base fits standard low-voltage fittings operating on 12V supply, commonly found in under-cabinet lighting, bathroom mirrors, display cabinets and desk lamps.

Designed for task lighting where clarity is needed — kitchens, workshops, bathrooms and home offices — the 6500K daylight output provides a crisp, neutral white light that enhances visibility for food preparation, detailed work and grooming. The 300° beam angle distributes light across a wide area from the capsule, reducing the need for multiple fittings in compact spaces. The bulb is non-dimmable and rated for a 15-year average lifespan under typical domestic use.

The capsule measures approximately 12mm diameter and 35mm length, making it suitable for compact fittings where space behind the lens or diffuser is limited. The G4 pins are spaced 4mm apart and the bulb operates on 12V AC or DC supply. Unlike halogen capsules which generate significant heat, the LED design runs cooler, reducing the thermal load on enclosed fittings and reducing the risk of heat damage to surrounding materials.
