Description

The Empatia is a blown glass pendant light built around a teardrop-shaped clear outer shell with a frosted white diffuser suspended inside it. The integrated 5W 3000K LED sits within the inner diffuser, so the light source itself is hidden and only the soft, warm glow of the diffuser is visible through the clear glass. A discreet white canopy and exposed transparent suspension cable carry the fitting from the ceiling.

The pendant suits dining tables, kitchen islands, bedside positions and stairwell drops where the brief is for ambient light rather than directed task light. The 150cm cable allows the fitting to be hung from standard 2.4m ceilings down to a comfortable height above a dining surface, and the cable can be shortened on installation. Three diameter options (16cm, 26cm, 36cm) make it possible to install a single pendant over a bedside table or cluster three sizes at staggered drops over a longer dining run.

The double-glass construction is the defining feature: the outer envelope is hand-blown clear glass with the soft irregularities typical of mouth-blown work, while the inner diffuser is a separate opal element that holds the LED module. This layering creates depth when the light is on, with the inner diffuser appearing to float inside the outer shell.
