The Emma is a glass pendant light with a white glass shade, ribbed all the way round in fine horizontal lines, that flares from a narrow neck into a wide, rounded body. It measures 26cm across and 18.5cm tall, a comfortable size to hang alone over a small table or in a group. The light comes from an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It is rated 57W and gives 1050 lumens at 2700K, a warm white, with a CRI of 80, and the white finish keeps the whole piece clean and simple.

We think the Emma pendant sits most naturally in a dining room, hung over the table, or in a living room, where warm 2700K light suits a relaxed evening. Its maximum drop is 200cm, which is useful in a room with a high ceiling. It comes in two versions, with canopy or without canopy, for multi-pendant canopies (sold separately). The version with canopy is ready to hang on its own from a canopy 6cm across. The version without canopy is for grouping several pendants from one shared multi-pendant canopy, which is sold separately. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only.

The shade is white glass, and its close ribbing gives the surface a soft, textured look whether the light is on or off. A slim black cable carries it down from the ceiling. Because the LED is built in, the pendant is one tidy unit, with no bulb to match to the shade. It runs on 230V mains and is wired in, so it is for a qualified electrician to install. Once it is in place, it needs nothing more from you than the flick of a switch.
