Elyra LED Alabaster Single Pendant Light - Brushed Brass

The Elyra is a single pendant light built around a 280mm natural Spanish alabaster disc bisected vertically by a slim brushed brass stem. The stem passes through the centre of the stone and continues below it, giving the fitting an unusual axis-pierced silhouette rather than the usual hung-from-above globe. An integrated LED inside the alabaster casts warm 3000K light through the stone, with the brass blade reading as a clean dark line down the front.

Designed for spaces where a sculptural single pendant is wanted instead of a cluster, the Elyra suits bedside positions either side of a bed, narrow hallway niches, stairwell drops, and single placements above a console or end of a kitchen island. The 628mm overall height and slim 50mm depth make it well suited to spots where a wider globe pendant would feel bulky. The alabaster diffuses light outwards to roughly head height when hung at standard pendant heights, giving a soft ambient wash rather than a directional pool.

The disc is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so each piece shows different mineral veining and tonal variation that becomes visible only when the LED is on. The stem and visible hardware are solid copper finished in brushed brass, giving a warm matt metallic line that pairs the cool translucency of the stone with a defined vertical edge. The brushed finish softens reflections under daylight and works comfortably alongside warm woods, off-whites, and muted greens.

Does the Elyra come with a bulb?

Yes. The Elyra uses an integrated LED light source rated at 3000K warm white on 230V mains, so no separate bulb is needed. The LED is built into the fitting and is not user-replaceable.

What ceiling height does it suit?

At 628mm overall height the Elyra works well in rooms with ceilings of 2.4m and above. The cable drop is adjustable on installation, so the pendant can be hung lower over a bedside or kitchen island, or shortened for hallway and stairwell use.

Can multiple Elyras be hung together?

Yes. The slim 50mm depth and vertical brass stem are designed to read cleanly when several are hung in a row, for example along a kitchen island or in a stairwell. Each pendant is wired independently and needs its own ceiling outlet or junction.

How is the alabaster cleaned?

Alabaster is a porous natural stone. Wipe gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth to remove dust. Avoid household sprays, polishes, or damp cloths soaked with tap water, as moisture and chemicals can mark the surface.
