Description
The Elaris is a 425mm capsule-shaped wall light cut from natural Spanish alabaster, with a vertical solid copper spine finished in brass running the full height of the stone. Two brass discs sit along that spine, one near the top and one near the bottom, each housing an integrated 3000K LED that washes the alabaster from front and back. Total wattage is 12W on 230V mains, with a slim 45mm wall projection.
Designed for hallways, stairwells, bedside positions and bathroom-adjacent dressing areas, the Elaris reads as a vertical accent rather than a primary light source. The 425mm height and 165mm width suit narrow wall sections between doorways or flanking a mirror or headboard. Mounted in pairs either side of a bed or basin, the capsule form gives a balanced, symmetrical glow without dominating the wall. The 45mm projection keeps the fitting close to the surface so it works in tighter circulation zones.
The alabaster panel shows soft veining that ranges from creamy ivory to pale warm tones, and each piece is cut from a different section of stone so no two Elaris fittings look identical when lit. The brass spine and twin discs introduce a precise vertical line and two clear focal points against the organic stone, giving the piece an architectural character. The combination of solid copper internals and natural alabaster gives the fitting weight and a substantial feel in hand.

Frequently Asked
Is the Elaris dimmable?
The integrated LED runs at 12W on 230V mains. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer module used, so please contact us before pairing it with a dimmer to confirm the right driver match.
Does the alabaster vary between pieces?
Yes. Each panel is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so the veining, tonal variation and translucency differ between individual fittings. Tones range from creamy ivory to faint warm undertones. This is a feature of the natural stone rather than a defect.
Can it be used in a bathroom?
The Elaris does not carry a stated IP rating, so it is intended for general indoor use rather than bathroom zones 1 or 2. It can be used in dressing areas or large bathrooms outside the splash zones, subject to the relevant wiring regulations.
How is the alabaster cleaned?
Alabaster is porous and softer than marble. Wipe gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. For more stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the stone and do not use household sprays, polishes or chemical cleaners.
