Description

The Ego accent is a slim 284mm bar that clips onto the Ego 48V magnetic track, throwing a 35 degree wash of light down a surface rather than a spread across the room. The integrated LED runs the length of the bar behind a recessed lens, so it reads as a clean line grazing plaster, a run of shelving or a framed picture. At 43mm tall and only 22mm proud of the rail, the head sits close to the track and keeps the source out of direct view.

Output is warm and steady at 2700K, drawing 13W for 1250 lumens with a colour rendering above 90, so timber, artwork and paint hold their true tone. The wall-grazing beam suits accent work where a compact spot would leave gaps: run one bar over a picture, or space several along the track to light a full wall evenly. The head holds to the track magnetically and takes its supply through the rail, so it lifts off and repositions by hand without tools.

The body is aluminium finished in matt black, matching the black Ego track it mounts on. The LED is built in and included, rated for 50,000 hours, so there are no lamps to source. Switching is on-off from the circuit feeding the track. Rated IP20, it is made for dry indoor rooms and clips onto a live Ego 48V magnetic track, which carries the low-voltage supply.
