Description

The Eclipse is a single-light wall light built around a deep, ribbed glass shade set in front of a flat, round painted backplate. Fine ribs run outwards from the centre of the glass, so when the bulb is lit they catch the light in bright lines and cast a soft glow back across the coloured plate behind. It is made from brass and glass, measures 20cm across and projects 15.5cm from the wall. We offer it in nine painted finishes, each matched to its own RAL colour: Matt Antique Pink, Matt Vanilla Cream, Sage Green, Matt Mint Turquoise, Matt Sapphire Blue, Orange, Red, Racing Green and Yellow.

Compact and close to the wall, the Eclipse suits a bedroom, where a pair either side of the bed gives a gentle light to wind down by, or a dining room, where a row along one wall adds colour as much as light. In a living room, it brightens an alcove, a chimney breast or the wall behind a sofa. Choose Yellow, Orange or Red for a cheerful accent, or Matt Vanilla Cream and Sage Green to sit quietly against pale walls. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only.

Every Eclipse is made to order for you in Ireland and painted in the finish you choose. The maker guarantees the fittings it makes for five years from the date of purchase, though bulbs are not covered. It is wired in to the mains by a qualified electrician. One practical note: bulbs are sold separately. It takes one E27 bulb, up to 40W per bulb, so have one ready and it will light the moment the wall light is fitted.
