Description

This is an E27 lampholder, the threaded holder that a separate E27 (Edison Screw) bulb twists into. The bulb is not included, and the holder produces no light of its own. It is rated at 250V AC and 4A, with a terminal-block connection for the supply wiring.

The grey finish suits fittings, fixtures and project builds where a standard E27 cap is needed. A high maximum operating temperature of 180°C makes it well suited to enclosed and warmer positions. It is best installed indoors as part of a wider luminaire or repair, given its open construction.

The body is moulded in grey with a screw-thread E27 receptacle and a terminal block for live, neutral and earth connections. Wiring is straightforward for a competent electrician, with the conductors secured into the terminal block before the holder is mounted into its housing. As a replacement or build component it accepts any standard E27 bulb.
