Description
This surface downlight fixes flat onto the ceiling face rather than dropping into a cut-out, so it suits ceilings where there is no void to recess into. It holds the fitting in a fixed, downward position and takes a single E27 Edison Screw (ES) lamp, which is not included, leaving you free to match the wattage and tone of bulb to the room. Maximum lamp rating is 60W.
Rated IP44, the fitting resists splashing and moisture, which makes it a sensible choice for a covered porch, a utility area or a bathroom zone away from direct spray as well as ordinary indoor ceilings. The round body measures Ø275 x 105 mm, giving a low-profile disc that sits close to the ceiling without a deep drop. From the Glozo range, it offers a plain white face that blends into most ceiling colours.
The housing is moulded plastic in a white finish, with the E27 lampholder set behind the fixed front. Surface fixing is straightforward: the base screws directly to the ceiling and the supply feeds in through the rear, with no cut-out to cut and no driver to wire since the chosen E27 lamp runs on mains. Once mounted, the bulb is fitted through the front of the fitting.

Frequently Asked
Is a bulb included?
No, the fitting is supplied without a lamp. It accepts a single E27 Edison Screw (ES) bulb of up to 60W, which you choose and buy separately.
Does it recess into the ceiling?
No, this is a surface downlight. It fixes flat onto the ceiling face and needs no cut-out, so it works where there is no ceiling void to recess into.
Can it be used in a bathroom or covered outdoor area?
It carries an IP44 rating, so it tolerates splashing and damp conditions such as a bathroom zone away from direct spray or a covered porch. Keep it clear of direct water jets and full exposure to the weather.
Can the light be angled or tilted?
No, the fitting is fixed in a downward position and cannot be adjusted. It directs light straight down from the ceiling.
