Description

The Dynamite is a long suspended bar carrying six square spot heads, each taking a GU10 lamp and tilting and turning on its own so you can aim the light where you want it. Rather than a single wash, it gives six adjustable beams, so you can point them straight down onto a worktop, angle them along a table, or turn a few up onto a wall or artwork.

It is a slim, graphic fitting: a straight 1155mm bar in a matt black finish with cube heads spaced along it, hanging from thin cables that you shorten at installation to drop from about 400mm to 2200mm. Unlit, it reads as a crisp dark line of blocks against a pale ceiling.

We would hang it centrally over a kitchen island, a long dining or meeting table, or a run of shelving where the aimable heads earn their place. Bulbs are included, so it lights the moment it is wired in, and at IP20 it is for dry indoor rooms, so we would have an electrician make the connection.

Can the heads be aimed?

Yes. Each of the six square heads tilts and rotates independently, so you can point the GU10 beams down onto a surface, along a table, or up onto a wall to suit the room.

Does it come with bulbs?

Yes. It takes six GU10 lamps (max 28W each) and they are included, so it works as soon as it is wired in. You can fit warm LED GU10 lamps in your preferred brightness.

How long is it and how does it hang?

The bar is 1155mm long and hangs on cables from about 400mm to 2200mm overall, shortened at installation. It suits a surface of a similar length below it.

Is it dimmable?

The fitting has no dimming of its own; whether it dims depends on the GU10 LED lamps you choose and a compatible dimmer.
