Description

The Dynamite Mini is the smaller round spot in the range, built to clip onto a three-phase track and aim light rather than fill a room. The head tilts and turns on the track, so one fitting can be pointed down a wall, angled onto a picture or swung to graze a shelf, and it slides along the rail to sit over the target. Lit, it throws one clean directed beam; off, the compact white barrel reads as a small, low form on the track.

Because it is only 40mm across and 155mm tall, it keeps a light footprint on the rail, so a line of these can pick out a row of pictures or a run of shelving without the track reading as heavy. Three-phase mounting lets separate spots sit on different circuits along one run, useful in a gallery, a shop or an open-plan room where groups of lights are switched apart.

The frame is powder-coated, plated or brushed metal and the fitting is rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms. It takes one GU10 lamp, supplied with the spot, so it arrives ready to use. The GU10 cap is replaceable, so brightness, beam angle or colour tone can be changed later by swapping the lamp. The three-phase track it mounts on is ordered separately.

What kind of light does the Dynamite Mini give?

One directed beam you can aim. The head tilts and turns on the track and slides along the rail, so the single GU10 spot can be pointed at a picture, a shelf or a display rather than washing the whole room.

How does it differ from the standard round spot?

This is the mini version, 40mm across and 155mm tall against the larger 57mm head, and it mounts on three-phase track. The smaller barrel keeps a lighter footprint on the rail, so a run of spots reads neater over a row of pictures or shelving.

Does it come with a bulb, and can it be dimmed?

Yes, it is supplied with one GU10 lamp, so it works once fitted to a live track. There is no dimmer built in, but a dimmable GU10 lamp on a compatible track dimmer will dim it, and the replaceable cap lets you swap the lamp later.
