The Duo is a 30cm diameter round lampshade with a matt black fabric outer shell and a polished chrome inner lining. The shade measures 22cm in height and fits standard table lamp bases with an E27 fitting or BC (bayonet cap) adapter ring. The chrome lining reflects light back through the top and bottom apertures while absorbing it through the black outer fabric, creating a focused upward and downward beam rather than diffuse ambient light.

Designed for table lamps on side tables, bedside cabinets and console tables in living rooms and bedrooms, the Duo suits contemporary and industrial interiors where contrasting tones are already present. The 30cm diameter works on lamp bases between 25-40cm tall without overwhelming the proportions of a typical side table or bedside surface. The shade accepts bulbs up to 60W but most users pair it with a 6-10W LED to avoid heat buildup inside the fabric shell.

The matt black outer shell is a tight-weave fabric stretched over a wire frame, while the chrome lining is a reflective metallic coating applied to the inside surface. This dual-finish construction means light hitting the chrome bounces back and exits through the top and bottom rings, producing two pools of light (one on the ceiling, one on the table surface) with minimal sideways spill.
