Description

The Duo is a 35cm diameter drum lampshade with a black fabric exterior and a polished chrome lining on the inside. The cylindrical shape measures 25cm in height, fitting standard ES (E27) or BC (B22) pendant lampholders and most table lamp bases with a shade carrier or duplex fitting.

Designed for ceiling pendants, table lamps and floor lamps in living rooms, bedrooms and home offices, the shade directs most of its light downward and outward through the open top and bottom, with minimal light passing through the black fabric itself. The polished chrome lining reflects the bulb light back into the room rather than absorbing it, increasing brightness compared to a fully black shade while maintaining the matte black exterior finish.

The black exterior is a cotton or polyester blend fabric stretched over a wire frame, giving a smooth surface that pairs with both contemporary and mid-century interiors. The chrome lining shows subtle texture when viewed from below, especially when the bulb is lit, creating tonal variation across the reflective surface. At 420g the shade is light enough for pendant flexes rated to 2kg or more, and the 35cm diameter suits rooms of 12-20m² without dominating smaller spaces or disappearing in larger ones.
