Description

The Duceri 3.6V 900mAh is a nickel-cadmium rechargeable battery pack configured in series for emergency lighting systems, specifically designed as a replacement for the Duceri EMLED3WMHBULK emergency LED bulkhead range. The battery consists of three individual Ni-Cd cells connected in series to deliver 3.6V nominal output at 900mAh capacity, with red and black flying leads terminating in a connector compatible with Duceri emergency lighting charge circuits.

Emergency lighting legislation requires backup batteries to maintain illumination during mains failure. This battery pack sits inside the emergency fitting connected to a trickle-charge circuit that keeps it topped up during normal operation, then powers the LED lamp when mains supply is interrupted. The 900mAh capacity provides approximately 3 hours of emergency runtime depending on the lamp load and state of charge, meeting BS 5266 requirements for non-maintained emergency lighting in most residential and light commercial installations.
