Description

The Droxy is a round recessed spotlight that takes a single GU10 or MR16 lamp rated up to 10W, giving you a focused beam from a fitting that sits flush in the ceiling. It runs from either 12V AC/DC via the Gx5.3 base or directly from 220-240V mains through the GU10 cap, so it adapts to the supply you already have. Sold as a US-style recessed spot or downlight housing, it accepts a PAR16 or MR16 reflector lamp, letting you choose the colour temperature and beam spread of the bulb to suit the job. The fitting measures just Ø99mm with a 34mm depth, keeping the recess shallow.

The Droxy suits bathrooms, en-suites and shower areas as well as sheltered outdoor spots such as porches, soffits and covered patios, thanks to its IP65 sealing. Because output depends on the lamp you fit rather than a built-in LED, coverage is best judged by the bulb's beam angle: a narrow reflector throws a tight pool for accent or step washing, while a wider lamp spreads light for general task areas.
