Description

This pale blue photo album gathers a new baby's first pictures in one place, with "Dream BIG little one" set in gold lettering across a matt cover, framed by a crescent moon and a scatter of twinkling stars. A blue ribbon ties it closed at the side, and a slim ribbon marker in the same shade keeps your place inside. The cover measures 21.1cm along its longer edge and 17.9cm along its shorter edge, and the album is 3.2cm deep, a handy size that sits easily on a nursery shelf or in a memory box.

Open the cover and the inside is printed with pale grey moons and stars, with a small cream envelope on the inside front cover for keeping a hospital tag, a lock of hair or a card from the day. Facing it is a dedication page headed "hello little one" and printed "love you to the moon and back, and more than all the stars in the sky", with lines beneath for your own message. White pages follow for the photographs themselves. We think it makes a thoughtful gift to mark a birth, from parents, grandparents or close friends, and one to fill gradually through a baby's first three years.

The cover is firm with neat square corners and a matt finish, the gold lettering on the front and the back left plain, so it looks tidy from every side on a shelf. Keep it in a dry place away from strong sunlight so the photographs and the gold stay bright, and dust the cover now and then with a soft dry cloth. For a new baby gift, slip a first photograph inside, tie the ribbon in a bow and it is ready to give.
