Description

The Drasvessa is a round LED flush ceiling light with a chrome steel ceiling plate, a deep band of rectangular clear glass crystals around its edge and a face covered in rows of beaded crystals. It measures 60.5cm across and stands just 11cm high, so it gives a generous spread of sparkle without dropping far into the room. The light comes from integrated LEDs: four lights of 5.6W each, giving 780 lumens apiece in a neutral white at 4000K. It is rated IP20, which settles where it goes: indoors, in dry rooms.

With such a low profile and a wide face, it suits rooms where a pendant would hang too low, such as a living room with a standard ceiling, a large bedroom, a dining room or a generous hallway. Because it is dimmable, you can run it bright for everyday jobs and bring it down to a gentle glow in the evening, so one fitting covers both. The clear glass and chrome sit happily with whites, greys and soft neutrals, and the crystal detail gives a traditional room a little glamour while still looking crisp in a modern one.

The body is steel in a chrome finish and the shade is clear brilliant glass, with the beaded crystals set in close rows across the face. There is no switch on the light itself: it is switched at the wall and runs on 220-240V, 50/60Hz mains. Its energy class is E.
