The Dramenne is a nine light pendant in black steel, built as a branching frame of slim arms that reach out in different directions, each finishing in an open E27 socket. It hangs on a cable from a round ceiling canopy and measures 110cm tall overall and 64cm in diameter, so it fills the space over a dining table without feeling heavy. It carries an IP20 rating, which settles where it belongs: indoors, in a dry room.

We see it working best over a dining table, where nine points of light spread across the table rather than pooling in one spot, and it sits just as well in a living room where the ceiling has some height. Because the sockets are open, the bulbs are always on show, so the bulb you choose becomes part of the design: clear globe filament bulbs keep the look airy, while frosted ones give a gentler glow. It suits anyone who wants one fitting to do the work of several, giving a room a strong centre point in a black finish that sits comfortably with wood, white walls and grey textiles.
