Description

The Dovrin is a swan neck wall light made of brass and glass, with a single E27 lamp holder beneath a wide, open dome shade. A slotted gallery sits above the shade, and a gently curved swan neck arm carries it out from a round backplate. It is 32.5cm tall and 30cm across, and it reaches 42cm out from the wall. We offer it in Antique Silver, Antique Brass, Natural Brass, Matt Black, White, Polished Brass or Satin Brass, each with a choice of Clear or Opal glass. The Matt Black and White versions have a white inner shade, and the paint colours are Matt Black RAL 9005 and White RAL 9010.

The swan neck holds the shade well out from the wall, so the light falls down and forward over the area in front of it. A pair either side of a bed or a mirror balances a wall nicely, and a single one works well over a dining sideboard or beside a favourite chair. It is rated IP65, so it suits a bathroom as well as a bedroom, dining room or living room. The choice of finishes lets you pick up the metalwork already in a room: the brass finishes sit happily with brass taps and handles, while Matt Black and White give a cleaner, painted look.

Every Dovrin is made to order for you in Ireland, from brass and glass, and it is a mains fitting for a qualified electrician to install. Bulbs are sold separately: it takes one E27 bulb, up to 6.5W per bulb (LED). The maker guarantees the fittings it makes for five years from the date of purchase, and bulbs are not covered. When you order, choose your finish and your Clear or Opal glass, and have one E27 LED bulb of up to 6.5W to hand for the day it goes up. Our photographs show the Polished Brass, Antique Silver, Antique Brass and Matt Black finishes.
