Description
The Dorica is a slim upright wall light, 300mm tall and only 45mm wide, with an opal polycarbonate diffuser that turns its built-in LED into a soft, spread glow rather than a hard beam. Because the light passes through opal rather than a bare lamp, it reads as a quiet band of brightness on the wall, gentle to sit beside. In the bronze finish the fluted body has a warm metallic sheen that stays handsome when the fitting is switched off.
The output is warm at 3000K and modest at 930 lumens, which suits it to layered rather than main-room lighting: a pair either side of a bed, a run along a hallway, or a single piece flanking a mirror. Its narrow 70mm projection keeps it close to the wall, so it works in a corridor or a stairwell without catching a shoulder.
The base and shade are painted aluminium with the opal polycarbonate diffuser across the front. The LED is integrated and supplied, rated for 50,000 hours, so it lights as soon as it is wired and needs no bulb. Rated IP20, it is made for dry indoor rooms, and we would have an electrician wire it to a wall point.

Frequently Asked
What kind of light does the Dorica give?
A soft, diffused glow. The opal polycarbonate front spreads the integrated LED evenly, so it lights the wall as a gentle band rather than a sharp beam. The tone is warm at 3000K and the output is 930 lumens, which suits accent and bedside use more than lighting a whole room.
Does it come ready to light?
Yes. The LED is built in and included, rated at 8.5W with a 50,000 hour life, so there is no bulb to buy. It arrives ready to wire to a wall point.
Is it dimmable?
The page does not list the Dorica as dimmable and it has no built-in dimmer, so we would treat it as a fixed-output wall light. If dimming matters for the room, ask us before ordering and we will confirm the current driver spec with the maker.
Where does it suit best?
At 300mm tall, 45mm wide and only 70mm off the wall it suits a hallway, a stairwell, a bedside pair or the sides of a mirror, anywhere a slim, close-fitting accent light works better than a broad wash.
