Description

The Dorica is a small cylindrical table lamp that stands 255mm tall on a matching base, with an opal polycarbonate diffuser that turns its integrated LED into a soft, even glow rather than a hard beam. The light falls downward onto the surface below, so it reads as a warm pool on a desk or side table rather than filling the room. In the orange finish the fluted body brings a warm block of colour to a shelf or side table.

The output is warm and low at 3000K, drawing 8W for 930 lumens with a colour rendering above 90, so nearby surfaces and skin tones look true. A touch dimmer on the lamp sets the level, from a working brightness down to a quiet background glow, which suits a bedside, a desk corner or a shelf where a gentle light is wanted.

The base and shade are a powder painted aluminium base and shade with a fluted, ribbed surface, with the opal diffuser set below. The LED is built in and included, rated for 50,000 hours, and the separate power supply comes in the box on a black PVC cable, so it lights the moment it is plugged in with no bulbs to source. Rated IP20, it is made for dry indoor rooms, and it stands ready to place on any flat surface.
