Description

The Dorica is a slim linear bar that hangs low over a surface and gives a soft, even line of light rather than a single bright point. Light comes from an integrated LED run behind a full-length opal polycarbonate diffuser, so the whole underside glows at a steady warm 3000K with no visible dots or hot spots. Lit, it reads as one clean band of light; unlit, the 45mm-deep grey bar keeps a low, quiet profile above the table.

The bar measures 1400mm long and hangs from adjustable cables between 390mm and 2185mm, so you can set the drop to sit just above a dining table, a kitchen island or a long console. Its length suits rectangular tables and worktops where a round pendant would leave the ends dark, spreading 4000 lumens along the full run at 35W.

The frame and ceiling cap are aluminium in a brushed grey finish, with a black PVC cable and an opal polycarbonate diffuser. It is rated IP20 for indoor rooms and arrives ready to wire in, with the LED built in so there are no bulbs to buy or fit.

Does it need bulbs?

No. The LED is integrated and rated for around 50,000 hours, so it arrives ready to use with nothing to buy or replace.

Can it be dimmed?

The Dorica is not supplied as a dimmable fitting, so we would run it on a standard switched circuit rather than a dimmer.

Where does it suit best?

At 1400mm long it works over a rectangular dining table, a kitchen island or a long console, where its line of light covers the full length. The drop adjusts from 390mm to 2185mm to suit your ceiling height.
