Description

The Dorica is a slim floor lamp, a single upright pole standing 1900mm tall with a continuous opal polycarbonate diffuser running down its face. That diffuser turns the integrated LED into a soft, even glow rather than a hard point, so the light reads as a tall vertical line rising from a small 250mm base. In the copper finish the brushed metal column reads as a quiet vertical line by day and warms through once lit.

The output is warm and steady at 3000K, drawing 50W for 6000 lumens with a colour rendering above 90, so skin tones and nearby surfaces look true. An on-board dimmer sits on the cable, so the level can be set from a bright reading light down to a low background glow. Emission is direct and downward along the pole, which suits a reading corner, the side of a sofa, or a spot beside a bed where a floor-standing lamp works better than a table one.

The base and pole are aluminium with a smooth brushed copper surface and an opal polycarbonate diffuser, on a black PVC cable with the dimmer and driver included. The LED is built in and included, rated for 50,000 hours, so it lights the moment it is plugged in and there are no bulbs to source. Rated IP20, it is made for dry indoor rooms, and it arrives ready to stand and plug in.
