Description
The Dorica is a slim floor lamp, a single upright pole standing 1900mm tall with a continuous opal polycarbonate diffuser running down its face. This is the higher-output model, drawing 66W for 8500 lumens across a wider 300mm base, so it throws more light into a room than the smaller version while keeping the same tall, quiet vertical line. In the white finish the fluted white column reads as a soft upright shape by day and glows through once lit.
The tone is warm and steady at 3000K, with a colour rendering above 90, so skin tones and nearby surfaces look true. Emission is diffuse, spreading the glow outwards rather than driving it straight down, which fills a corner of a living room or the end of a sofa with even ambient light. An on-board dimmer sits on the cable, so the level can be set by hand from a bright working brightness down to a low background wash.
The base and pole are aluminium with a fluted white surface and an opal polycarbonate diffuser, on a black PVC cable with the dimmer and driver included. The LED is built in and included, rated for 50,000 hours, so it works the moment it is plugged in and there are no bulbs to source. Rated IP20, it is made for dry indoor rooms, and it arrives ready to stand and switch on.

Frequently Asked
How is this different from the smaller Dorica floor lamp?
It is the higher-output model. It draws 66W for 8500 lumens on a wider 300mm base, against 50W and 6000 lumens on the standard version, so it puts more light into the room while keeping the same 1900mm height.
What kind of light does it give?
A soft, warm and diffuse glow. The opal polycarbonate diffuser spreads the integrated LED evenly down the 1900mm pole and outwards into the room. It sits at 3000K with a colour rendering above 90.
Does it come ready to light and can it be dimmed?
Yes to both. The LED is built in and included, with the driver supplied, so there are no bulbs to buy. A dimmer sits on the cable, so you can set the level by hand without wiring in a separate wall control.
How big is it and where does it suit?
The pole stands 1900mm tall on a 300mm base. That tall shape with its broad, even output suits a living room corner, beside a sofa or in an office, in the fluted white finish.
