Description

The Dian is a 740mm table lamp built around a hand-painted ceramic vase base with raised floral and leaf motifs in gold on a silver ground. The ceramic body sits on a black wooden plinth and carries a tall 460mm empire shade in ivory cotton with box pleats and black-and-gold trim on both top and bottom rims. The lamp takes a single E27 bulb up to 60W (sold separately).

Designed for formal living rooms, entrance halls, master bedrooms and console tables where height matters, the Dian provides ambient lighting rather than task illumination. The 300mm height of the empire shade diffuses the bulb output in a broad conical spread, casting warm general light across a 2-3m radius. The box pleat structure of the shade adds texture under daylight and prevents the fabric from appearing flat when the lamp is off.
